Frederick Wimsett - murals and artistic design

ABOUT

Frederick Wojahn-Wimsett is an American-born artist, amateur herbalist and aspiring alchemist based in Glastonbury Somerset and London. Frederick’s work brings a sense of childlike wonder at the beauty of nature to every project. An intuitive sense of colour, a unique take on the natural world and an exacting eye for detail make his bespoke murals and screens an illuminating backdrop or a defining centrepiece.

Frederick's art, often inspired by 18th century chinoiserie, is already in the homes of many stylish Brits including Alice Temperley, Kate Moss, Jamie Hince, Victoria Grant, Paul O’Grady, Rita Ora and Cozmo Jenks. It is also featured at Christie's auction house, Temperley London's flagship store on Bruton Street, and the Temperley Flagship Store in Doha's luxury shopping destination "The Gate" in Qatar UAE. Frederick was commissioned by St Christopher's Place to paint a three metre high portrait of the Queen to commemorate her 90th birthday. By the end of 2019 Frederick will be launching the World of Wimsett, expanding into homewares.
