ALLEGORY SCREEN

Inspired by Eckhart Tolle's “The Power of Now” and painted originally for Temperley London's Flagship store, alongside my Moonlight screen.  There was a birdcage theme in the store, as well as a lucious plum coloured carpet, so I chose to depict a lavish Victorian birdcage against a plum background.  Some of the exotic parrots and parakeets are inside the cage, some on the outside, but the door to the cage is open, with a cheeky laughing monkey below watching it all.
